
When the world came to a standstill in 2020, Candace and Allan Tea sprang into action. As seasoned restaurateurs, their top priority was supporting their team—so they launched a humble dumpling delivery service to keep their staff employed and families fed. What began as a scrappy side hustle quickly blossomed into a fast-growing e-commerce brand rooted in heart, hustle, and of course, dumplings.
Cali Dumpling was born out of a mission to bring authentic, restaurant-quality dumplings into home kitchens everywhere. We use only the finest ingredients to craft bold, nostalgic flavors that capture the essence of meals shared at your favorite neighborhood restaurant or your parents’ dinner table.
After welcoming their daughter in 2022, Allan had a moment of reckoning: he didn’t want to feed her the artificial, overly processed dumplings commonly found on shelves. That realization sparked a new mission—create dumplings made with clean, natural, and organic ingredients that families could trust.
In 2023, we proudly launched our USDA-certified Organic Dumpling Line—made with non-GMO, non-MSG ingredients and absolutely no artificial colors, preservatives, antibiotics, or hormones. Produced in Los Angeles, our organic dumplings are now available in over 60 retailers including Erewhon and 99 Ranch Market across Southern California.
